ref RLYL first time I heard Big Black I thought RLYL but not as good, still pretty much of that opinion, they must have been an influence on Godflesh & all that late 80s industrial stuff surely, Crawling Mantra is Slavestates polite elder sibling, and they were as you point out a bloody great live band
