If you can handle Fish screaming 'Forgotten Sons,FORGOTTEN SONS' all over the place then a bit of 'Last Exit For The Lost' will be childs play.
Dig out Psychonaut and if it still raises an interest then give Elizium a shot, it's high on Atmospherics and probably a bit Lovecraft for dummies for some, but it ebbs and flows beautifully , not the world's greatest songwriters the Neph but they were excellent craftsmen, way beyond the Hussey throw some interesting words together schtick
In defence of all things goth I also think that The Mission,Nephelim, Bauhaus & The Cult [Goth big 4] were all superb live whatever the quality of the records, as a matter of fact I cannot think of a goth band other than the Sisters who were not brilliant live.
The Sisters were somewhat tied down by the fact that a drum machine meant everything was going to be pretty much as the album bar the last 5-10-20 minutes of improv over a ghost rider beat, so they never excited me that much live
