Totally splendid. Gradney and Hayward are my fave rock rhythm section after Squire and Bruford. I love how Gradney makes repetetive phrases that little bit different each time through. Little rhythmic shifts, omissions and additions. I have wondered if the first album line up were the band on the Ry Cooder and Randy Newman stuff on Performance. I know Lowell was on it but not sure about the others. They aren't credited but that kind of thing was often contractual.
