I've had a stressy week with little time for music.
Two brutally stupid JP albums were perfect to distract me from my sour mood though: RAM IT DOWN & PAINKILLER! Rob Halford's voice is always pure catharsis.
Also more Grateful Dead which is my idea of summer/springtime listening (early 70's live tapes, and some Pigpen-era videos I found online: Playboy After Dark and a KCET show called "Calebration" with Beatclub-style psychedelic video effects galore.)
And working my way through the final volume of Neal Stephenson's Quicksilver trilogy. About ready to officially call him my favorite living writer now. Great stuff!
