I see your point but the subject of prehistory is not stamp collecting or jotting down train numbers, it's a huge subject incorporating many disciplines and the opportunity for people interested in it to have a voice is important. TMA forum doesn't seem to be the place to come for that.

Probably not, but from reading over many years I get the impression that some here think that this is the place for that.
