The altitude from the stones to Glendue Fell is as I said give or take 0.4 degrees . Maybe you don't understand how to calculate altitudes , you have yet to even use the term and may be getting it mixed up with elevation .This was one your recent questions ,"How do you calculate the elevation, incidentally. Trigonometry or a computer programme? " .The elevation is found on as accurate as possible OS maps ,is measured in metres not degrees and not calculated .

As usual this will probably take a while , despite it being very straightforward then you will realise and then go off on another tack .
