If you only want to get one of these shows, I recommend to get the Nuremberg one because it has the encore (w/o smashing of the guitar) and nice sound quality.

Sigh. Live Nuremberg Messezentrum 1976 £9.60 through Amazon. Damn you 1 Click Ordering... Was a unique band though. Just wish I was cooler. Get a momentary twinge of something when buying Rainbow cd's.

What's lurking under the "my listening rock(?)" this week? Ah, hasn't been auspicious week to be honest.

Goat - World Music. Thanks all. Brilliant.

Gram Parsons - G.P. and Grievous Angel. Picked up for £1 from Oxfam. Bored the pants off me. Not even good C&W. Really cannot see the point or why the enduring legend.

Rose Kemp - Unholy Majesty, Golden Shroud. Progressive folk death metal bandwagon slowly rumbles forward. This is unique. She is a big Cardiacs fan apparently. Lots in here and well worth a listen

Ted Nugent - Original Album Classics. 5 cd's for under a tenner. Ted Nugent, Free For All, Cat Scratch Fever etc. Similar to Rainbow in a way - as in a machine tooled technically brilliant rock band at the top of their game but playing with that extra something that lifts them above just muso technical brilliance, something you just don't find now. Worth celebrating and marvelling at no matter how uncool their practitioners may be. Love these, but fuck me the man is a tool.

And loads of other stuff but have to run. May be later.
