Wikan - Illegal Grave EP. Free download from ToneStone. Wasn't what I was expecting at all and, to be honest, it took a while for it to grow on me. But repeated listens reveal a top sense of atmos and detail. I like it a lot! I hope TS doesn't mind this, but I was reminded by some of it of the very early Sisters of Mercy 12"'s (Circa Reptile House and Alice). The sparseness and percussion kind of evoked those early Sisters releases. ps Love the name and the Black Triangle logo too!
