Blonde On Blonde – Bob Dylan
Not a major Dylan fan by any means, but you can’t go wrong with this, can you.
Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle – Bill Callahan
I seem to recall feeling slightly disappointed with this – the second release under the Smog guys own name - at the time of its release, but going back to it a couple of years later it sounds so much better. New one on the way, too.
Koyo – Junkboy
Enjoyed going back to this 2010 release from Brighton based act. There’s still a Brian Wilson influence at times, but there’s a bit of Bryter Layter there, too.
Where Did The Night Fall – Unkle
Probably didn’t give this enough listens when I first got this, but going back to it now there’s a lot to admire. Several great tracks in fact.
Interstellar Overdrive – V/A
Uncut cd from 2008 with Black Mountain, Caribou, Wooden Shjips, etc.
Also some Blurt, Circle and singles by Loop Guru, Primal Scream and T.Rex, etc.
