The Fall - Live At The Witch Trials

The ABBA Movie (1977) -- filmed in Australia weirdly enough! And directed by Lasse Halstrom! As usual with "group movies", the meat is the concert footage, and the stuff in between is mostly filler. Highlight is a prog-disco fantasia sequence for "The Eagle" (always did think that was one of their groovier tunes.) And also Agnetha's bountiful bum, about which many references are made (her signature stage move is to turn around and dance facing the drummer . . . )

The End Of The Road (1995) - doc about the last Dead tour and death of Garcia. Focus is on the audience not the band, and the vibe is sad & bittersweet -- not just because of the "end" factor, but because a lot of deadheads are pathetic! Reminds me why I hated this band when they were still around . . . .
