It's unlike me not to agree with you 100% Tone, but I disagree in that I think it's quite a modern sounding Monster Magnet album (as opposed to being modern sounding per se). It's bloody great (natch), but I think it's a fair way off SOG or TAB in the (psychedelic) madness stakes.

But then every single MM album has been a grower for me - they all take a while to 'click', but when they do it's peerless stuff. But I stand by my claim that they're the only long-running band never to have made a bad album, hence why I loves 'em like I does :)

Lovin' Mastermind, had it on repeat for 3 days :)
