JULIAN COPE – Interpreter (with Cheap New-Age Fix and Maid of Constant Sorrow sounding particularly good this week. And I can never get enough of I Come From Another Planet, Baby!!)

GRAHAM COXON – Bittersweet Bundle of Misery (the current single. Good if rather throwaway)

ENO – Here Comes the Warm Jets / Taking Tiger Mountain (Albums I’ve meant to get for years and which someone here kindly sent me. Ta very much, oud duck!!)

DAVE GAHAN – I Need You (I’m not a huge Depeche Mode fan by any means, but this Ladytron remix was one of my fave singles last year)

THE HIGH STRUNG – Follow Through On Your Backhand (7 track sampler cd. Thrashy and Beatle-esque )

LALI PUNA – Faking the Books (my daily dose…)

MORRISSEY – Irish Blood, English Heart (Frankly – Mr Shankly! – I couldn’t care less what the cynics say. This is a glorious comeback single. And a real grower to boot)

SUPER FURRY ANIMALS – Phantom Power (really impressed with this. Great pop album)
