Hmm. Well, I think I can safely say that it sounds monstrous. Frankly, I can't think of anywhere in the world that would be acceptable.

And I think it was Mustard that suggested windfarms aren't capable of supplying the amount of energy we need, so it makes it all the more ridiculous.

They're building a massive offshore one between the Isle of Wight and Swanage, or somewhere nearby. I teeter between thinking it'll totally ruin the view from a fabulous stretch of coast, and wondering if it'll be OK really... I'm sure the locals won't be best pleased!

Anyway. I've not read the thread as I say so I'm in over my head before I start. ;)
