So putting that aside, Glaciation is a possibility and as good as any other theory..

If the glaciation process dumped erratics on the Somerset levels which were then transported to Salisbury Plain then the theory still holds..

If glaciation moved the bluestones to the somerset levels then sea-worthy boats would not have been necessary. My objection to the glaciation theory is when they say that human transport from Wales is unlikely if not impossible. I know this to be untrue.
