Politicians and charlatans often say similar things about John Humphrys ;-)

I'm not in a position to question (gorseddphungus on anything other than matters pertaining to Japan - on that subject he/she has made some rather strange observations and at least one serious error. Because of that I am sceptical of his/her posts in general. I don't consider being sceptical and asking someone to back up their claims as being rude - I consider it common sense and one of the prime functions of forums such as this.

As I said above however, I do hope (gorseddphungus is the real thing and I apologise in advance if I am doing him/her an injustice.
