Not finished with erections yet (I'm only 58) go to www.stonehengetheanswer.com. Find page 7 then click "more info" you will see the BBC version of the hole profile. We can still launch the stone from a tower instead of a ramp. Much quicker by miles than building ramps. OK we don't get to do 90 degrees but perhaps we can find a way of levering the stone up using the tower as a working platform.

We probably won't need to build the tower higher than perhaps 8 or 9 ft, and still complete in 24 hours.
