I can honestly say that on first listen I got more pleasure from it than Spirit Live or Made in Germany. The playing's 'all there', seems more alive, vital, out on a limb. Due to my mate being crocked on the weekend I did'nt get another hoped for earful and am really looking forward to it. He may be able to tweak the sound a touch and brighten Randy's guitar a tad, but even as is I got absorbed in it after accepting the sonic imperfection. Treat it as you probably did in your teens, hearing your fave bands in concert on the radio, and its bloody enjoyable. Fuck the nitpicking in that respect. I've heard far worse audience boots. An important Randy 'n Ed sonic document. Although I give the heads up to folk here about Amazon releases I've abstained from buying anything from there myself for a couple of years, so will suss out alternatives...but, yes, I'm definitely parting with my hard earned for it, and gladly so.
