As I was scrolling down the thread I was thinking should have included the Nuggets and Pebbles box sets. Good Call!

That Stones London Years Singles Collection is a blinder too.

The Luke Haines Is Dead 3 disc career overview is a goody as well. Has out-takes B-Sides and alt versions from The Auteurs and Baader Meinhof period.

Also remember enjoying those Sonic Mook Experiment albums put out by Mute.

Also The Fall - Peel sessions is a stormer.

The Scientists - Weird Love is a great compilation of essential Scientists swamp rock, albeit that they re-recorded the songs (for me in superior super fuzzed form) for the LP.
