THe guy who put that together did a series of them throughout the 80s & possibly 90s. Think his name was Hal Wilner which i always confuse with Val Wilmer the British jazz photographer/author of The Freedom Principle.

There were other sets on Nino Rota, Thelonious Monk, Mingus and Leonard Cohen. The Cohen set had a video set done for it which was broadcast on Channel 4 at the time & featured people like Nick cave.

I think inclusion on the Stay Awake set triggered Sun Ra to incorporate Disney tracks in his sets towards the end of his life. maybe it just tied in with their presence, think Ra also cut a full lp of Disney tracks. Odd since Disney himself seems to have been a bit of a racist.

Anyway what I've heard of those sets has been very interesting so tracking them down might be worthwhile for you.
