I second Monganaut's recommendation for 'Grindcrusher' - a great one-stop thrash shop.

Others worth a mention are the Capricorn sampler 'Peaches' (nowt like a nice bit of Wet Willie, fnaar fnaar) and the four great Island samplers from 1969 to 1971: 'You Can All Join In', 'Nice Enough To Eat', 'Bumpers' and 'El Pea'. I'll always have a soft spot for the early Virgin sampler 'V' as well, as it was my first exposure to Hatfield and the North, among several other fine, semi-forgotten acts such as Clear Light and Chili Charles. And you'll never hear the over-maligned mid-70's version of the Magic Band sound better than on the two live tracks featured therein. I feel a long-delayed 'Unsung' review coming on...
