It's like an ad for a team of ageing male strippers. They were quite edgy at the beginning. Noisy but edgy. Here we see men with too much money forgetting what got them there. Have you seen the Eagles documentary that has been on tv recently? Same sort of horror. Though they were shit Burritos-lite from the get-go.

Commentators like to say that rock went wrong with MTV and Live Aid but the rot set in way before that. Punk Rock / New Wave had already pushed a lot of bands into the soft centre where rockers wear expensive suits with the sleeves rolled up. Live Aid was their Woodstock.

Makes Dio era Sabbath seem even more of an achievement. Nothing soft rock about that!
