Saw them live with James Chance around 1996 in NYC after seeing Current 93 a couple of nights before. They still sounded in high form.


I love those two tracks. At the commercial end of their scale but still pretty great. Both on "Boom".

I had no idea they had ever been on Mercury, had made "Happy" or even that those two 00s albums had come out on ROIR until long after it had happened. Shows what a difference the internet makes in terms of being aware of what bands are up to. Life was easier when keeping up just came down to reading the news pages of a couple of inkies every week ;-)

Anyway anything with Laura Kennedy and Pat Place on it is going to be more than alright.
