I have a friend who swears by them, but he did once tell me of a gig they did which began with a projection of the complete opening scene of 'A Matter Of Life And Death', with the band striking their first chord as David Niven's plane crash-landed. Sounds like I might need to see them live to fall in love with them. Their records seem pleasant enough, but not particularly exciting.



As the Emperor says, very good at all the stuff around being a great band except the music itself.

And when they do get it right - as when they performed an amazing instrumental soundtrack to the film Baraka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baraka_(film) at the ICA - they fail to record it, the silly sods...
