This week I have been listening to music from Bagpuss.

Oh joy!

It featured such classics as

The bony king of nowhere
Uncle Feedle
The Fairy Ship
And the famous Mouse Round

"We will wash it, we will scrub it, we will make it nice and clean...."

You know the one.

The music is mainly Trad Arr. stuff, with the lyrics adapted to fit the storyline. Ably played on a variety of acoustic instruments, including mandolins, guitars, harps, and the marvellous mechanical mouse organ!

Beautiful whimsical stuff that brought back many good memories.
