Beebon-

Did you know that "Seven Songs" was produced by P-Orridge and P.Christophersen? Although they never printed the fact on the album sleeve.

What's that album like?

Sometimes I find that Tibet's voice is quite hard to get into...

...I've got The first album "Nature Unveiled", "Lucifer Over London", "Thunder Perfect Mind"

The music is always fantastic and ever since he started using Acoustic Guitars backed by Shimmering Atmospherics- they've gone into another realm.......I'd appreciate a good description of that album as I've heard quite a few positive reports including 'the best album' etc.

all thoughts welcome

Once you own A.C.'s "666", it will burrow itself deep into your soul -

You'll love it even more in 12 months time!

I reallllllllllllllllly can't stand Tibet's voice..after hearing so much about C93 in various places, I picked up the Vanished Faces compilation a few years back on recommendation.."Lucifer Over London",the song,I kind of liked, and Nick Cave doing "All the Pretty Horses" was fine, but othewise listening to him was real fingernails on chalkboard

Is there anything he's done that is vocal free..and worth the time?

I've also always been intrigued by the term,'apocalyptic folk",which has been bandied about some of his work, but haven't found anything in that realm that's caught my ear either.

Not to sound curmudgeonly about it;I'd be curious to know more about either.

'course I'd like to know more about lots of things, but that's just a few of 'em.

Soft Black Stars....

Well, basically the only instrumentation is piano, and is basically David Tibet reading poetry (i assume)... very laid back in tone and i quite like it... sorry my description is a little vague :p

One C93 album i WOULD recomend is "All The Pretty Little Horses" if you like the acoustic guitar with electronicness added, is such a nice yet slightly dark album and probably my favourite i've heard so far.

Though saying all that, i can see why people dont like Tibet's voice... it's one of those things u either like or not really...

Hope this is of some help?
:)
