Not that they're defending their jobs but their egos, dowsers, including medical ones are much the same. Zero decent scientific evidence but their own perception is enough, and mustn't be knocked. Annoying people. How'd you like the NHS to pay £4 million a year for someone to find tumors with a pendulum? I wouldn't. Very sincere people that absolutely know it works mind you and say the contrary studies are fiddled or mistaken...
