I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I will be inheriting, well, a partial stake in, anyway, the house my grandfather built up in Maine someday. In that case it's got family history behind it... it's definitely not for sale.

If you're a fair and equitably priced landlord, you shouldn't feel weird about it. Some people prefer to rent- you're performing a service, nothing more.
