Don't think it's too soon to start thinking about this as our overseas friends might need to plan a bit in advance. The 2006 Meet was at the Cove. 2007 we got completely rained out and spent most of the afternoon in the Red Lion... oh well... could have been worse :-) Haven't even thought about dates for this year but it'd be good to have something to look forward to in the summer maybe?

Sounds like a winner to me! I'm game! And cos it's not far for me to travel, dates are pretty flexible... Avebury's always a good bet due to the aforementioned bolthole in case of inclement weather. Roll on Summer! G x

Avebury's always a good bet due to the aforementioned bolthole in case of inclement weather. Lots to see if the weather's good, and lots to see in the Avebury and Devizes museums if it's bad (plus lunch, a pint or two and a chinwag at The Red Lion or the Waggon and Horses). Be good if Loie and BuckE can make it over again, and if some of our Irish and north country friends could make it as well this time.

That'd be good Moth :-) Haven't even looked at the calendar for possible likely dates but maybe sometime in June, July or August if that's best for most peeps.

The month of June is quite good weather wise, a bit early but everything is still fresh - perhaps you should invest in a long term weather forecast phone call ;)

...perhaps you should invest in a long term weather forecast phone call ;) Couldn't get any wetter than last year! And I seem to remember Goff and a few others tramping over to Silbury in it! We're actually all very lovely people in the flesh dee - honest :-)

Haha! Yeah - Me and Juamei made it all the way, as I recall, and a few more including Bucky E and Loie made it as far as a really nice tree to shelter under! And also as I recall, me and J got utterly s-o-a-k-e-d!!! :D And it's unlikely there'll be any punch ups cos we're all so bloody nice, ALRIGHT? ;o) It'd be grand to see all of you (and particularly those who haven't made it so far!) - bin AGES since I've seen Moth 'n' Jane! G x
