Just a reminder that this year's Avebury Megameet will be on Sunday, 29 June.
Weather permitting we meet up somewhere close to the Cove at around noon. Nothing particular planned, just turn up and meet likeminded people, share photos, experiences, ideas etc. Good idea to bring something to sit on and something to eat and drink as well if you want. If the weather's poor we meet in the large front bar at the Red Lion.

Yeah - we're looking forward to it as well - should be a good turnout again this year! Be good to see everyone again... We should do it more often!

Frequent visitors to Avebury will know both the major places of interest but also some hidden gems in the area that first time visitors might otherwise miss.

I am sure I will manage to get there on the day but will have Rex with me so no matter what the weather's like we will be out and about.
I am no expert but would bemore than happy to show anybody around who doesn't know the Avebury Complex

Good stuff Scubi. There've been a couple of canine attendees in the past (this year as well I think) so Rex won't be alone :-)

And of course Moss my collie, once so scared of going into the longbarrows but now quite happy to venture down. Hope Chance is coming to as you live fairly near don't you?
