Carniverous plants
Dec 24, 2004, 07:02
We only get Drosera Rotundifola and Pinguicula Vulgaris (sundew & butterwort respectively) as natives here. Yo get a couple more in the UK - Drosera Anglica being one. I used to collect them as a teenager (sad fuck that I am ... erm ... was). I still love it when I come across a huge bed of them.

In County Cavan someone has intorduced pitcher plants (can't remember which one) and they've settled in very nicely (not sure I approve though - but they do look cool when you first see them).
