SBP, I find it hard to see what you're saying here. Surely "fair" doesn't come into it? Surely some things need to be kept low key, to discourage vandals, ebayers and nighthawks? You and I aren't being treated unfairly as we can probably earn the right to be let into the secret. To repeat my previous question, how else can it work?

As for asking George if he's happy to be prevented from climbing Silbury, I should hope he is, the same as everyone here. In fact if he did there are people here who'd let his tyres down, Great Briton nominee or not. ;)
