ANY three stones that are not in a straight line will form a triangle and the vertices of EVERY triangle lie on a circle. For a triangle to have any significance whatsoever, it would need to be equilateral, right-angled, or isosceles. Other than these special cases, I would say you need at least four stones on a circle to call it significant.
