One day soon we'll accept that Goethe was as necessary and as spot on as Newton, i have complete faith in that.
i see a line of perception which roughly can be divided into stageposts as:
science-morphology-metaphysics-mysticism
The ancients I believe had their minds in morphology (no relation!) more than rational science, whither they went either side of that into science and/or metaphysics is also a good question I think. 'Poet is priest' could well be applied to Goethe, although 'Poet is Proof' may not be accepted!
