LAURA NYRO Eli & The Thirteenth Confession
2nd lp by Brooklynite singer-songwriter. Great vocals.
Most soulful
Must get a replacement copy of New York Tendaberry since my last one is scratched part way to f***.

YES Fragile
The recent remaster. Jon Anderson’s voice strangely non intrusive.
Like the new America. Am I becoming a prog-head.
Next stop pachouli?
SANTANA/MCLAUGHLIN Love Devotion Surrender
Outstanding one off meeting of noodlesome jazz –rock guitarists and Larry Young.
Think this is saved/made/great for its immediacy since it was recorded in a very short time –presumably live.

FUN-DA-MENTAL Seize The Time
Indian live-band hip-hop including the original drummer for Southern Death Cult Aki Nawaz.
Pretty dashed great especially for the sound bites between songs. Saw these supporting Therapy and C$C, very weird seeing a hardcore hip-hop troupe dressed in traditional Muslim garb.

OUM KALSOUM The Mother Of The Arabs
The great Arabic voice. wish this had more details. Would like to know when it’s from
