Haha, i was thinking the same thing. As it happens, I'm having a massive 'clear out' of stuff at the minute (think it happens about every 10 years or so, i get fed up with it all, and there are only so many records i listen to at any given time, so much gets overlooked).
I'm not precious about the stuff, as long as i have the music i enjoy, i don't care if it's the first edition, or a scrappy old CDr. Besides, there are some real 'dogs' in there that i don't know why i bought in the first place (probably recommneded to me by someone or other. Y'know how it goes..oh, you like so and so, you'l love this....then you buy it and it's total pants).
Bar a few records i can't live without, the future looks like it may be zillions of 'compilation' CDr's of favourite tracks for me.
Though, as Moey says...each to his/her own.
