The Grinderman one probably didn't do much for me as the pre-release references to the Birthday Party made me compare that primal noise to the slightly more polite primal noise the Grinderman do. It was OK, but whoever described it as 'the bad Seeds on holiday' on here was right on the money IMO. The Gallon Drunk reissues further clouded my appreciation of it - maybe I'll change my mind, I have done over the odd Cave-related record in the past. I try not to watch Jools Holland as everytime I do I want to be sick in a bag and post it to the lame-asses booking acts for it

I saw The Stooges a few times live in the last year and thought they were great - the fact they only played about one song from that LP says it all! The Psychic TV album compared is genius! Let's avoid a HH lovefest though, I might post an Unsung on that deleted Pet Shop Boys obscurity and wait for the wrath of the longhairs! (I can't since my tape of it died in the flood...).
