I disagree there as Muslims, nor indeed any religious person relating to any religious crime is sitting silently by while these things happen, not one Muslim community condones these acts and they're as disgusted as the rest of us and have expressed their disgust just as much as everyone else has, problem being is it's never mentioned in the mainstream press. Here's one such example:

Problem I see with suggesting that they're just sitting idly by is that it creates a stigma against the people as a whole. I see no benefit in that whatsoever, it just creates more prejudice, more hate and ultimately more violence.

These people who commit such acts aren't adhering to any religion that they claim to they're just scum who aren't brave enough to admit they're scum.
