OK what I'm gonna do for this week's soundtracks is that I will review a whole bunch of early-to-contemporary electronics records I just bought today (having got my tax refund early...)
But first:
Rotary Connection: Peace -- finally got hold of it. The kind of record that's best to listen to at Christmas, but probably the best of its kind I heard since (maybe) those compilations on Les Disques du Crepescule (the title escapes me...)
The Soft Moon: Zeros -- kinda inferior to the earlier stuff at first listen but I'll keep it around and see how it goes. The last thing I got, a one-sided 7" with a John Foxx cover, still proves they have it...
Now for the electronics stuff:
Synergy: Audion -- Kinda disappointing work from the keyboardist for Peter Gabriel. Not exotic enough and a bit boring, really...
Andrew Ruden: Tragoedia -- Much better. Nothing too heavy, just playing around with how tragedies are more popular than comedies in classic literature and whatnot. Very much Subotnick inspired.
