Thanks! Useful info for a newbie.

Only really listened to 1st album stuff so far, and then not in depth. Sounds great, but I haven't got the scary aspect yet. Probably because lyrics tend to go in and out of my brain without touching go the first few times I hear anything.

Oh well, it's not just the lyrics that are a bit spook, though songs about Christians kicking on the gibbet and murdered spouses aren't really X-Factor stuff. I find the arrangements and vocal delivery a bit...wooOOOah - as well. There's a dark, pagan abandon to it all that's quite unnerving and exciting I think*.

Even weirder live cos they look like nice, amiable middle-aged folk - which they are - and then unleash...what they do. It's great!

*Perhaps I should add, the first time I heard the first album was in a dark, candlelit room after an evening of mild acid and we were having a dose of Blue Lotus at the time, so that added to the....eeeeeek! In a good way though.

BRRRRR! Sounds g-g-great!

*Not sure what blue lotus is though, to be honest!

It's nothing to do with Top Gear (although...)

It's this..
