Jethro Tull - Too Old to Rock n Roll, Too Young to Die. A recent gap-filling acquisition in my Tull collection although I was familiar with a couple of tracks from it. It's funny, 'cos though it comes from 1976, it's almost like it's Tull's closest dalliance with a kind of faded glam; their Mott/Bowie album, particularly on the title track which has a Ziggy/All The Young Dudes feel to it. Good stuff and I didn't realise 'til now that the comic strip art was done by a pre 2000AD Dave "Watchmen" Gibbons.
The Darkness - One Way Ticket to Hell/Hot Cakes
White Wizzard - Flying Tigers
KISS - Rock n Roll Over
Snorkel - Stop Machine, which I had to stop playing to take a phone call, so it was more of a Stop-Restart Stop Machine.
Electro Quarterstaff - Gretzky
Goat - World Music.
A Kind of Cai - A Kind of Blue Reinterpreted. Saw these at the Manc Jazz festival and really enjoyed 'em.
