I'd agree with 'Still Life' Also Gentle Giant - Octopus Shirley Collins - Anthems In Eden Caravan - The Land Of Grey And Pink Hatfield & The North - Hatfield & the North Pink Floyd - Piper At The Gates Of Dawn ...still thinking....

i'm with you on ritual de la habitual... it's an absolute stunner... hammered it for years and still take the toffee hammer to it now when i need adrenalising... i'd also add fleetwood mac's rumours which doesn't put a foot wrong. i'd like to say yes's topographic oceans but there's the small matter of side three to contend with. the new shins album's flawless. perfection's not easy to attain. oh yeah, you can count lindisfarne's nicely out of tune too....

you're mention of Yo La tengo is interesting, got hold of the retrospective 1985-2003 double cd yesterday, bloody brillant it is too, and the standout tracks were from Electr-o-pura they really are a superb band, aren't they. anyway, for what it's worth kind of blue - Miles Vol 4 - Sabs (worth it for the sheer number of amazing riffs) any of the Nick Drakes Common one - van the man sure there are more

I suppose technically both of the only perfect albums were released by Stiff Records The Wit And Wisdom of Ronald Reagan The Wit And Wisdom of Margaret Thatcher Both were blank LPs.
