Amongst the usual: Bad With Wimen/Band's Ruin - DM Bob & The Deficits. Wonderful rough and ready Sun style rockabilly/country. Passable cover of Jeepster, too. 1987: What The Fuck Is Going On? - The Jamms Aged better than it deserves to. Still as much fun. FF - FF. Not gonna change my life, but very good nonetheless. Personally, I think it's worth a tenner of anyone's money just for the two singles, so the other tracks of a comparable standard are a bonus. Mahalia Jackson - Gospels, Spirituals, & Hymns. My musical education draws on apace. I might have to actually start a gospel thread - get some advice from you lot.

"I think Virgin owns 'em now..." I think Virgin bought them out about 10 years ago! Before that they were part of WHSmith .o0O0o.

didn't they more or less buy Virgin out years ago? Branson just kept the megastores and then re-built his empire by buying them back?

It was an a-side... IN a pretty Futurist sleeve by Peter Savile (of course!) The b-side was half of "Everything's Gone Green".

[I know we've all been going thru a bit of a 'Locust abortion technician' thing again, as we often do. But, fucking hell. .. hahaha.. did we all forget this fucking diamond or what ?] No - I was thinking of doing a review after listening to it the other day (liberated from me mums). I reckon it's the creepiest one they've done. And how nasty and spiteful is 'Perry'? Ace stuff... x
