The Scottish Greens have in their manifesto they would only support another referendum if there was clear sustained support from the public.
Even something in there about a petition with about 1m signatures.
There is no clear support from the public.
Chances are they will vote alongside the SNP next week, but it only result in causing more resentment up here.
Sturgeon would always push for a referendum no matter what. The fact they too said they would want to see support around 60% and for a sustained period is by the by I suppose.
Hijacking the remain vote in Scotland for their own ends I going to cost them dearly.
And as for tackling poverty, they had a chance to exercise different options for social security benefits but delayed it.
Why?
If the amount of time and energy and money wasted up in Scotland on campaigns and flags and focus groups and endless inane debates about 'independence' went where needed we'd be much better off.
