Thanks for that Merrick, havent been able to read it all yet. Its very sad to hear what is happening, I was in Jerusalem for a month or so 10 years ago just after the gulf war. I was in bethlehem for christmas. its very distressing to hear of these oddly magical places being bombed and a very intelligent people being so killed/oppressed/humiliated. I heard Broadcasting House yesterday morning and thought the discussion was one of the most enlightening that I have heard for a long time - not sure if it can be heard from the "latest programme" link on this page (I dont have a sound card):
