why bring up such emotive subjects if you will be offended by anothers opinion, preteending things are not what they are, means to me how you see them as being or interpret how another has expressed them as being. I hardly see a person whos view is different to yours or anyone elses as being pretence, as rhiannon said these things are rarely black or white. I dont want to join in this one as i think its all horribley sad and no one can ever win, neither the girl or her parents, i might not do what theyre doing if i was in their shoes, i dont know, i hope i never have to find out. i thought that was a harsh comment given the context of this board and that you started the thread -thus inviting potentially oposing views.
