This morning on radio 4 they said that you would not be required to have the card on you at all times. After all that would be like a totalitarian state and 'no one wants that'. Don't make me laugh.

So if we dont even have to have the damn things on us, what IS the point supposed to be?

AND another thing, the idea is to sneak them into everyday life, because if you get a new passport you will have to have one. So no foreign holidays unless you toe the line mate. They expect 80% of the population to have one this crafty way before the next 10 years is up.
