I'm only going on what I have read about the food remains found at neanderthal sites in Northern Europe.

If they found and ate other smaller creatures than why not. It just seems more likely (To me) that neanderthals hunted, killed and ate what they found.

I can't be certain, but I'm almost positive there are tribes that live that life style now, or if not now recently.

But we seem to be coming to this from opposing corners and as there is nothing available to point one way or another. I will call it, agree to differ.

As, I said in another post. I'm happy to think that at least one of my ancestors was a neanderthal.

Me too :-). We aren't really at odds just sharing our thoughts which differ but as you say, only because the available info is not really forthcoming. We have enough problem dealing with Neolithic times let alone anything else!
