The Black Crowes have a damn good case
for America's Greatest Rocknroll Band

You nearly had me convinced 'til this point, Black Crowes are the most over rated pile of shined up dog poo ever IMHO, i suspect you may disagree I once had the displeasure of sitting through an hour and a half of their greasy fake sub AC/DC boogie rot, it was vile, but hey one mans poison.
In my defence i like Foghat so i have issues, actually Foghat are a fine American band [except for a geographical problem]
