GZ 2 is closer in spirit to the flowing cosmic folk of the Pilz label than the heavy rock of the Bacillus label, but any way you look at it, it's a krautrock classic!

Haven't heard the LP reissues of Sci-FI Party and GZ1, but can confirm that the CD's each have a couple minutes of "new" Tangerine Dream material (recorded with Timothy Leary) on them. Supposedly, they were intended to be on the original release, but once Edgar Frose freaked out at the direction the Kaiser was doing, he left the label and the material was cut. Hopefully the fact that this is finally coming out now suggests that the Tangerine Dream collaboration with Leary will be released in full.

The added material on GZ 1 works quite well, but the new stuff on Sci-Fi Party sounds out of place, I guess 'cause I'm so used to the old version.
