The Kaiser + Starmaiden trip was not going to be an easy one. But they weren't going to forget the Truth that they saw.

What's so cool about Gilles Zeitschiff 2 is that, in this moment of approaching doom, they actually double-downed and moved their trip in whole new directions. The classical motifs, previously seen on the obscure Take Your Headphones promo-LP, are now fully developed. The song titles, in Julian Cope Black Sheep fashion, are named after historical figures, previous visionaries to inspire us. The musicians are no longer just from W. Germany, but also Italy. The final missive from the Kaiser + Starmaiden sees them expanding their vision to encompass the entirety of a reawakening Europe. Gilles Zeitschiff 2 is the perfect way to go out, a five-star karutrock classic, an album whose beauty and Truth will continue to resonate for generations, until the psychedelic dream becomes permanently manifest.
